juggernaut
January 2011 will see Nektar once again entering the studio for the recording of their new album “Juggernaut”
With the present lineup of Albrighton/Howden/Henatsch/Pichl this album is earmarked to be a milestone in the Nektar story. Roye commented “I really am excited about this album as it is the first time for a long time that we will have unrestricted use of a studio and more importantly, the ability to capture the late night jams that mean a lot in the structure of the bands music”
The last time the band were able to record in such an environment was during the making of “Evolution” but even there there were time limits and a budget to keep in mind.
Klaus added “Nektars music evolves around fifty percent written material and fifty percent on the spot spontaneity”
This new album will be a mixture of music ranging from spacey passages to mini epics, from all out jams to beautiful ballads..something for all.
If you like the unpredictability that is the Nektar brand of music, you will simply love this latest offering.
Available March/April 2011 in CD and download formats
