ReplyDeleteFirst, I just want to say that ever since I first listened to 'Remember The Future' on vinyl my life has been different. So many positive things have been going on in my life because reality made a lot more sense (as much as it could). Every moment is another moment to relate and possibly change the world's perspective for the better [Love].
The band I'm in Steal The Prize, lives in VA and there are two spots for opening bands on your Jaxx (August 19th) show. We know the booking agency promoting the show and one of the guys is our friend and might be able to get us on the show. But, he told me the owner of Jaxx currently (until January 2012) usually likes to have opening bands sell 50 tickets. We live in Lynchburg which is a pretty good drive...but we have been already promoting the opportunity to play with you guys that night to get people hyped. We have a great response and might sell about 25 tickets but I'm afraid if we can't get to the 50 tickets level we might not get to play with you guys.

we have a player that will stream our whole new album for free. We just recorded it analog because we're inspired by the special warmth and intimate realness that it gives. Listen for yourself.....I think we would be the best fit for your opening act.
Also, I've seen a lot of interviews with you and I can feel that we are very like-minded. We are young but we also want to change the world in a positive way by helping people realize and to 'Remember The Future'
